the bottom leaves of my golden pothos keep turning yellow one by one. it hangs about two meters from a south window and i water every sunday, no exceptions. soil feels damp-ish most of the time. is sunday-watering the problem?

the schedule is the problem, not you. i killed three pothos before i learned to just stick a finger in the soil. if the top two knuckles are dry, water. if not, walk away. mine went from yellow leaf machine to growing half a meter a year.

also check the pot has a drainage hole! mine was sitting in a pretty cover pot collecting water at the bottom for months. felt so dumb when i found out.
